Yeah, I liked his exposition on Eccl. 7.29 being a reference to Adam with the result of everyone now with a sinful nature. Adam was acting for all of us when he chose to follow the woman (see Gen. 3.17-19). We are Adam’s natural offspring and physically contained in him when he sinned. Christ’s representation for us was purposeful in that He chose Abraham’s and David’s descendant Mary to become enfleshed.
