Bible Verses

The pictures I post will usually have a verse or part of a verse from Scripture. The portions I choose mostly come from the Psalms or Proverbs since these books have many verses where the concept is complete or “stand alone”. These snippets are good for memorization and encouragement.

Generally, the historical narratives, prophecies, and letters should be read in complete sections to preserve the literary flow. It is much harder to find complete concepts in these sections but some verses may be used which “stand alone” if great care is used and the context is not violated.

The Bible reader will be best served by reading the whole of the Scripture systematically. Many reading plans are designed to cover the whole Bible in a year. This plan will help the reader see the complete view of all God has for us and provide a context for the various parts.
