You see what I did? Since, generally, humans are plagued by hate, it is appropriate for a holy God to judge. However, this is not the primary problem of humans thinking they can sit in judgment of the eternal God. Humans act like they themselves are qualified to judge; they are not. This was the devil’s bargain, that they would be like God if they ate the forbidden fruit. What he didn’t say or reveal is that humans would just play God in their thoughts and actions, often against each other.
When humans attempt to put God in the Dock (on trial) they show their folly and self-deception, to speak nothing of an active deceiver seeking their destruction. Different humans around the world have different standards and ideals in their jurisdictions when governing themselves. Also, in different eras, some things were more important than others when compared to today. If history continues, there will no doubt be different standards than today. Humans are naturally fickle and confused; they have to learn, and come to conclusions, what standards to believe. Not so with God. God is all-knowing and eternal, loving and faithful. His judgment is flawless.
