Contra to this article, I do believe Luke gives Mary’s genealogy. However, James Bejon explains the levirite adoption of Shealtiel in a concise way which I want to highlight. I believe there is more to be said than even James has regarding the line of Jeconiah as part of Jesus’ genealogy, but, I’ll leave this here for now.
