Behold, I will put a spirit in him, so that he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land, and I will make him fall by the sword in his own land
There is no dating discussed in the following article relating to Sennacherib’s death for defiling God’s name (comparing Him to other gods whose nations Sennacherib conquered). What I am conveying in this post (another post will deal with the prophecy of Babylon’s desolation) is that Sennacherib’s killing took place (according to my research) 20 years after the event of the killing of the 185,000 troops. The prophecy doesn’t specify that all the judgements occur immediately one after the other and bible readers need not be concerned if the fulfillment of the parts is stretched out in time.
