Sanctify Them by the Truth; Your Word is Truth-Jn. 17.17

Where can someone go to find meaning? Circumstantial evidence, such as this post by Mr. Windle, establishes the reliability of the Isaiah text. Inquirers also have the eyewitness accounts of the Gospels that Jesus died and rose again. The book of Isaiah, of all the O.T. Prophets, has the most prophecies of what the Messiah will do in His dual appearances. So, if one wants to know accurately what life is about, the bible is the truth. Further, the bible tells us why, how, when, where, who, and to what extent, the truth affects us. The greatest benefit and mystery of God’s word is that His Spirit illumines His word to us that we can know Him more fully and know what the future holds for us: … may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe (Eph. 1.17-19 ESV).
